  Role Overview:

  The Middle School English Teacher will deliver engaging and effective English instruction following the Australian curriculum. The teacher will support students in developing strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills, while fostering confidence and curiosity in learning.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and teach Middle School English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

  • Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature to students aged 11–14.

  • Develop assessments, assignments, and learning materials based on curriculum standards.

  • Track student progress, provide feedback, and communicate regularly with parents.

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.

  • Use technology, interactive activities, and modern teaching strategies to enhance learning.

  • Participate in school-wide programs, events, professional development, and staff meetings.

  • Support students’ wellbeing and academic growth within the pastoral care system.
